The Atom

Everyone's recovering from Christmas laziness so I think we're prolly just going to post random stuff until we get back into the swing of things and start our next theme, which I believe is 'Our First Anime Experience'.
Anyways here's my bit for the ComicBookResources JLA art jam. Never read any Atom stories but he seems cool, especially in Frankenstein - Agent of S.H.A.D.E.

Turtle n' Rabbit

So here's my entry to this week's 'TMNT' theme, featuring Leonardo from the Turtles battling it out side-by-side with Miyamoto Usagi from Usagi Yojimbo in ancient feudal Japan, a predicament that happened fairly often in the comics and shows. Might come back to colour this at some point as I like how it came out.
Now onto what I should rightfully be working on - college assignments due next week!

Whedon-Who?

Finally got this outta the way, phew! I'm not very familiar with the Whedonverse at all, my experience being limited to a few random episodes of Angel I watched when I was younger. And Lorne is the one character that stands out the most in my memory, so I went with him singing karaoke for no real reason.

Onwards to our next theme, which I believe is 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles'...

Mr. Freeze

I know it's Whedonverse week here on the blog, but back when people were having a second crack at our Batman theme I started this. Unfortunately college work got in the way and I only now got around to finishing it! Better late than never.
More comicky news; me and Naomi Bomb as well as a handful of others are heading to Thought Bubble Leeds Con! It'll be me first proper convention visit, as well as my first time stepping foot in England, it's gonna be a helluva experience! Might do up a few cheap and easy pocket-sized minicomics to dish out at it. Oh, and I'll be gunning for the 2000AD Talent Search contest too if all goes to plan...

The Dark Knight

Wowzers, when I suggested ol' Bats as our first theme I didn't think everyone'd have their bit done the next day! A good sign I say, least we're all really into it.
Anyway here's my piece. I actually went through three different ideas first (one being a more literal fight in an alleyway, the other being a dynamic Paul Pope-esque shot of Batman jumping over buildings) but I hadn't done anything with indian ink in and a brush in a while so I went with this.
